After reading it, in my opinion this is less like a novel and more like the author's autobiography. I don't know why I wrote this comment with a heavy heart. I have pity and admiration, but not disgust. As a male, I cannot empathize with the protagonist, but I admire the protagonist very much. Our country's conservative thinking makes gossip more harmful to people. I can't imagine how hurt people are by such things.
I sincerely hope that every rapist should get the punishment he deserves, but how bumpy and tortuous is this process? How many people who have experienced this kind of thing can resist the rumors and persist in going to court with the rapist?
Finally, I hope that the two rapists in this book get the punishment that the victims expected.
