This book is very cool. None of the names seem to be Chinese, right? Although I don't understand a little bit, I benefited a lot from it

This book is not highly recommended. I don't know if the teaching methods of mathematics in China and other countries are different. This book is relatively simple for most Chinese people, and it is basically learned in compulsory education and high school. The content in the book is indeed as the title says, simple and close to life, but for us, it doesn't make much sense to learn the knowledge we already know. Some contents in the book make simple contents very complicated and not clear enough. It is not suitable for people who lack mathematical knowledge to read.

Most of this book is about practical operations and some new calculation techniques. I think it feels really simple if you can understand it if you have some basic knowledge, and it feels really difficult if you can't understand it. It is probably impossible to get this preview. I think calculus is just like this. There are relatively few definitions and the teaching is not particularly extensive.

Review the past and learn the new. If you are not good at mathematics, you will find it difficult, but sometimes you will find it simple and interesting.

It's pretty good, just a little lacking.
