To be honest, I think scientists do not have a strong ability to unite. Generally, they cannot develop in countries that value human connections. The reason why scientists are respected is also because of the practical purpose: to increase productivity so that people can live a prosperous life (without having to work hard) (automatic ization), pass through a large amount of intelligence in a short period of time and select useful intelligence from it (big data analysis), enable the country to form overwhelming military strength against other countries and gain a better international status (research on nuclear bombs)... Because science can make itself stronger, science is scary because of its growth power, but there are no poor people here and they have no access to anything.
