After his family fell on hard times, Yu Feifan gave up his chance to go to school so his younger brother, Yu Guangyao, could study, and went to work to support the family. At work, he met Yang Ximeng, a third-year architecture student, and the two grew close over their shared interest in blue bricks. When he saw the children left behind in his hometown, he was inspired to start a business and revive his family's craft. He invited Yang Ximeng and others to found Artisan Spirit. The road to reviving and passing down the Huizhou brick-carving tradition was full of twists and turns, but they upheld the "Huizhou Camel Spirit," supporting one another and growing together. They not only developed a new formula for blue-brick materials, but also established the company as a market leader, ultimately achieving success in both business and love.
