Psychological Analyst

The protagonist is a behavioral analyst who works at a detective agency.

A behavioral analyst observes the way people speak and act, even the slightest flicker of expression, to work out their thoughts and sometimes even their identity.

Sometimes people don’t want anyone else to know about strange incidents or cases, so instead of calling the police, they hire a detective agency to investigate and resolve the matter. As a result, the cases they encounter are rarely ordinary.

For example, a client might say they’ve seen a ghost, only for the investigation to reveal that they suffered a psychological shock and imagined something they themselves firmly believed was real. That’s the first case.

With his expertise and help from the other people at the agency, the protagonist solves case after case.
