Death Game

After work that day, I went to a gaming internet cafe. Once I logged in, my friend Death posted a message telling everyone in the cafe to play a game. A huge word appeared on the screen, and there was no way to refuse: accept and start the game, or refuse and be punished.

At first I thought it was a prank. It wasn’t until one disaster after another struck the cafe that I realized it was all real.

A scythe tattoo had appeared on my chest, and a blood-red progress bar had appeared in the game. I didn’t know why, but I had a bad feeling. No one in the cafe could leave. We were trapped in the two-story building, and one by one, the people around me died. After a brutal killing spree, I finally managed to escape. A few others escaped with me, but I soon realized that the nightmare had followed me ever since.

To save my own life and keep my family from getting dragged into it, I began taking the game seriously, desperately completing all kinds of bizarre tasks issued by Death.
