Defying the Heavens and Upending the Firmament

The laws of Heaven are elusive, gods and demons wreak havoc, the empire has no laws, and no family knows peace!

Those who live off the people proclaim: “Life and death are fated! Wealth and rank are granted by Heaven.” Those who oppress others preach: “The wheel of reincarnation turns, and good and evil are always repaid.”

Ha! A page full of bitter tears, a book full of absurd lies!

If it all comes down to the victor becoming king and the defeated becoming outlaws, to the strong devouring the weak, then why shouldn’t I wield the knife and cleaver, while others become the meat on my board?

If Heaven is unjust and the world merciless, then why shouldn’t I slaughter Heaven’s way and take its place!
