Evil*

I have read other translations, and this one is slightly inferior in the art of language. Let's talk about the content of the book. What I felt was Baudelaire's mental pain and physical numbness. In his poem, he also stated that being a fool is happy, and he enjoyed that moment, escaping the darkness and chaos of reality. He uses a passionate approach to praise the evil that ordinary people dislike, and explores beauty in chaos, degradation, decay, death, etc. He sings praises to the devil and the body. He depicts the tragedy and ugliness of reality and wraps it in a coat of beauty, and there is also a sense of using joy to offset sorrow. Due to the excessive use of symbols and stream-of-consciousness techniques, it is not possible to fully understand the author's meaning. It is normal. There are some secret and fleeting fragments of thoughts that only those with a clear mind can resonate with.

"Flowers of Evil" has a dark tone when reading it. Baudelaire's writing style is very special. What he sees in his poems are always the dark side of human nature and there are always weird images. As for reading Baudelaire's poems, I haven't read them deeply, so I can only talk about my feelings after reading them. Not all of his poems have the same feeling. Sometimes I feel trapped and helpless, and sometimes I feel rebellious and crazy. There are even occasionally some poems that read calmly and peacefully, but there are also some accusatory poems where one or two lines are calm when read. Moreover, the imagery of the poem is very impactful, and black and red are particularly suitable for describing his distinctive poems.

I like the book "Flowers of Evil" very much. It allows me to see a different world. Baudelaire's writing style is unique and contagious, making me feel his thoughts and emotions. I particularly like some of the characters in the book, they made me think more deeply about human nature. This book gave me a new understanding of literature and made me love reading and creating even more.

I can't understand many of the poems in this book, but I can understand some of them. The content is pretty good.
