Through the eyes of rural youth Yang Zhenguo and his wife Zhou Huijuan, it truly shows the true story that happened among the villagers of Yangshuwan in the 1990s. In order to treat their son with cerebral palsy, Yang Zhenguo and Zhou Huijuan traveled around, farming and working, supporting their elderly mother, and balancing the relationship with their elder brothers and sisters-in-law.
