If the Buddha is free from greed, why does he ask people to make offerings? If the Buddha doesn't crave fame and fortune, why does he ask people to kneel? I have a Buddha in my heart, but the Buddha has no place for me. After suffering all the hardships of this world, I pray to the Buddha for nothing more than peace. If the Buddha won't save me, what's the use of worshipping you?

If you think that gods, immortals, or even Buddhas would pity mortals, you're wrong.

You have nothing to do with them, so where would pity come from? Where in this world does love come from for no reason?

Either fight for what you want yourself, or stop begging for pity. There is only one reason to become stronger: to survive.
