The Incantation of the Warrior

The Heavenly Dao follows its course, and all things have their own natural order. Since Pangu separated heaven and earth, the three realms of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity have maintained their balance, each fulfilling its role in peace for thousands of years. But the emperors of the human realm abandoned virtue and justice. Cruel and greedy, they waged war year after year and slaughtered countless people, leaving the land strewn with corpses and its people in misery. The many who died unjustly were filled with bitter resentment. They became evil spirits, stirring the spiritual energy of the human realm until chaos erupted and spirits began appearing everywhere. In lands ravaged by years of war, vengeful spirits gathered and proved impossible to disperse. They ran rampant, making life unbearable for the people. When there is a creature, there is always something that can subdue it, and so demon hunters and devil slayers came into being.
