Huo Shui’er, a traditional Chinese medicine doctor who is also a special agent, transmigrates into the body of a young lady who was beaten by her own family and kicked off a cliff. What a miserable start! It doesn’t get much worse than this.
But Huo Shui’er soon runs into the cold, incredibly handsome Ninth Prince, Xu Ye Han. His strange illness happens to flare up, and desperate to find something to wear, she has no choice but to take what she needs from him.
“Damn woman, are you after my looks?” The man’s furious gaze was cold as ice.
“Don’t flatter yourself. I’m not interested in a weakling like you. It’s your clothes I like!”
And with that, Huo Shui’er stripped off the Ninth Prince Xu Ye Han’s outer robe like peeling an onion!
“Damn woman, you’ll regret everything you’ve done today,” the man roared.
Huo Shui’er paused, then turned back. “You really are asking for it! If that’s what you want, then so be it!” She knew he couldn’t fight back just then, and emboldened by her wicked streak, decided to scare him a little.
Huo Shui’er reached out and stroked the man’s face. “To make sure I don’t regret it, come on, give me a smile. Just give in to me, haha!”
The man gritted his teeth in fury. What was his status throughout the entire Hongzhao Kingdom? Everyone looked up to him, and people trembled with fear in his presence. Yet here he was, capsized in a gutter. If that damned illness hadn’t flared up, how could he have let her take such liberties with him? He would have torn that damn woman limb from limb to soothe his rage.
Give it five stars. It was not easy for the author to write it. I feel that there is not such an unforgettable love between the male and female protagonists. They tortured each other until the end. I was physically and mentally exhausted from watching it.
