History of Western Philosophy

It is a work about the development of Western philosophy. Its prototype was Professor Tilly's lecture notes when he taught at the university. This publication has two volumes in Chinese and English. Specifically divided into three parts: Greek philosophy, medieval philosophy, and modern philosophy. The following chapters are divided into twenty chapters: natural philosophy, questions of knowledge and behavior, the Reconstruction period, ethical movements, religious movements, classical sources of Christianity and medieval philosophy, the formative period of scholasticism, philosophy of the Renaissance, the beginning of British empiricism, rationalism in continental Europe, philosophy of the Enlightenment, Kant's critical philosophy, German idealism, German philosophy after Hegel, French and British philosophy, law versus rationalism and idealism. Chapters are divided into chapters to provide more detailed descriptions. An index of the original book is attached at the end of the article to facilitate readers to search for details. With nearly 700,000 Chinese characters, it is a large-scale work on the history of philosophy. This time, both Chinese and English volumes are published together, and the scale is huge. The publisher specially invited two doctors of philosophy in the industry to jointly translate and calibrate it, striving to make this topic selection more accurate and complete, so that more scholars and philosophy enthusiasts can understand and spread Western philosophy together.
