This book is very interesting. It uses simple language and vivid examples to explain economics knowledge, so that even an economics novice like me can easily understand it. I especially like the economics part of life in the book. It taught me to look at daily life from an economic perspective, such as how to consume rationally when shopping. However, I kind of hate some of the characters in the book. They always make short-sighted decisions that make people anxious. Overall, this is a book worth reading that will allow us to better understand the economic phenomena in our lives.
This book is not bad. The title is about economics, but it contains knowledge about psychology and game theory. A lot of the knowledge is interdisciplinary. We usually learn some different knowledge, which can help us better understand the problem.
This book explains some knowledge related to economics from different directions, including consumer economics, market economics, workplace economics, financial economics, etc. I personally like the content of the first two chapters. It would be better if more cases could be explained, it would be more thorough, and there would be fewer chapters.
In short, I still learned some knowledge from the book. Several chapters in it talked about opportunity cost, the theory of zero-sum game, and the Pareto effect. This knowledge has applications in all aspects of life.
