I have been thinking, if Tianjun had not sent people to arrest Huaiyu, would there not have been the sadistic things that happened later, and then Huaiyu and Hou Qing would have been able to be together well?
However, this was ultimately impossible. If there is an afterlife, I just hope that they are just ordinary people, don't have so many righteousnesses to care about, and live out their next lives in peace and harmony.

It's good to watch, but it's too cruel. Why can't Hou Qinghuai Yu have a happy ending, even if it's just a fantasy, let them get married once, live a life of ordinary people's food, rice, oil and salt, and grow old together with descendants, even if it only takes a few decades.
