Acting onstage, Wang Peilong's life is one grand performance.
She sings, recites, acts, and fights: she's good at singing, but even better at fighting.
She lives amid glittering excess and heady passion.
She's the neon lights, and she's the fragrance in the air.
She wants beauty, attention, and the very best people by her side.
The ones she once loved, she no longer does.
The ones she doesn't love now? No matter. She'll take them for herself, and then she'll love them.
She always finds a way to make people fall for her.
In one sentence: Two bad people fall in love. He's bad, she's even worse. Being bad is all that matters.
This is well written. It is a treasure. But the ending is a bit unfinished. I feel it is a bit perfunctory. This book is so close to my heart. I hope more people will discover this treasure. Good luck to the author. In fact, it would be better if there is a follow-up.
A nice book. I read another book by the author. It feels different. It's nice.
Are you finished, baby?
