Flirting with Strangers in a Period Novel

Wei Shiwan got with the times and transmigrated into a book, marrying Geng Xun, a character barely mentioned in the story who had been abandoned by his wife and was raising their son alone. She got with the times again when it came to marriage, bringing the contract marriage common in CEO romances into a story set in a bygone era. Wei Shiwan thought he was the quiet, taciturn type that most people liked these days. Who knew he'd be a gentleman who kept himself pure and knew how to flirt? When she had a suitor, Geng Xun put on a wronged expression. "Hurry up and pack your things. You're coming to the city with me. Someone's pursuing me... You're my wife, so you have to take responsibility." Wei Shiwan: "...All right." When someone confessed to him, Li Dahua said, "I like you. I know you and her don't have any feelings for each other. I'm willing to be with you." Geng Xun: "Wife, come here!" Wei Shiwan: "..."

P.S. The son isn't his biological child, and Geng Xun has never been married. The plot moves a little slowly at first, but it picks up later.
