Zhang Xuan was dumped by his ex-girlfriend, who returned to China and started playing this game. When he filled in for his cousin Jiang Jingxuan, he met a group of streamers, including Lin Xixi. Later, Lin Xixi reported Jiang Jingxuan for having someone else play on her account. Although the truth came out, Zhang Liang vouched for Jiang Jingxuan, saving her streaming career. In the matches that followed, Zhang Xuan, Han Guaiqiao, and Jiang Jingxuan repeatedly defeated Lin Xixi, and won Zhang Liang over as well. They began competing against the world's strongest players on the global server for the King rank, earning an invitation and the chance to compete. When he met Fang Tianyao again, Zhang Xuan showed her through an overwhelming victory that he was still the same person!
