A letter asking for help brings Poirot to France, but he arrives too late because his client has been stabbed to death with a paper knife and lies face down in a grave on a golf course. Why did the deceased's coat grow a lot? To whom is the passionate love letter in the coat pocket addressed? Before Poirot had time to figure out these problems, the second corpse appeared in the same way...
This book gives a panoramic view of the style and charm of the "Queen of Detectives". Readers can not only appreciate the writer's ingenious ideas, bizarre plots and wise language, but also appreciate the rich British style.
Reader comments
The image of Detective Poirot is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, just like Sherlock Holmes, smart and individual. The suspenseful plot in the story kept me guessing until the end, and I especially hated the murderer, it was so abominable! I think this book is somewhat similar to "Murder on the Orient Express", both are full of suspense and surprises
The second part of Detective Poirot. Nice! [Shy][shy][shy][shy]
