"Yin Fa She Tong" was completed in Jiayin of Wanli (1614) and written by Xu Shangda of Ming Dynasty. "Yin Fa She Tong" is a representative masterpiece of seal studies in the late Ming Dynasty. There are 21 general examples. Volumes 1 to 1 of the main text mainly introduce the system and form of official and private seals. Volumes 1 to 15 explain ancient seal script and seal knowledge. Volume 16 introduces the seal button style. Volume 17 and later is the seal spectrum. In addition to collecting ancient seals, it also collects seals made by famous sealers and unknown sealers in the Ming Dynasty and self-made seals.
