After going through a failed romance, Xiao Xiao is always laughing as she sarcastically says that love is like a ghost: lots of people believe in it, but few have ever seen it. Life goes on, though, and through her close friend Jiang Xiaoyu and at work, she meets the idol singer Weng Lin, the angelic Ye Qiumo, and the devilish Jin Jia, one after another.
It seems the days of innocence are gone for good. Her close friend's secrets, the idol's past, the tenderness of a wealthy heir, and the domineering nature of her immediate superior: what kind of conspiracy are all these seemingly unrelated threads weaving together? And when it has all faded away, who will still be by whose side?
This story has funny moments, tangled relationships, mysteries, and conspiracies. It won't make you suffer, though it may break your heart. The writing is realistic, not in the style of Taiwanese or Hong Kong CEO romances. I've said my piece, so if it's not to your taste, please be kind in your criticism. Discussion is welcome!
