It was pretty good after watching it, but it should have had a sequel. I felt unclear about A Jing's life story, as he was so cute, and there was no ending to the two crazy men, Yan Qing and Xuan Yue. The male protagonist's sister also felt a bit strange in the end. There are a lot of heartbroken people in this novel, and the supporting characters are all the ones being abused, but the male and female protagonists are okay.
