Synopsis

"Shui Jing Commentary" is the title of the book. "Shui Jing Zhu" is an annotation written by Li Daoyuan for "Shui Jing". The author Yang Shoujing, whose courtesy name is Xingwu and later nicknamed Linsu Laoren, was born in Lucheng Town, Yidu, Hubei Province. He was a famous historical geographer, epigrapher, bibliographer, calligrapher and bibliophile in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. "Shui Jing Commentary" was written by Yang Shoujing and his disciple Xiong Huizhen over several decades.

Moreover, it can be mutually confirmed with books such as "Erya" and "Outline of Water Courses", giving people a clearer understanding of ancient geography. I particularly like this rigorous academic style, which feels like exploring an unknown world. But I don't really like those fictitious words, like the "one or two" added by Akito, which makes people feel a bit confused. Yang Shoujing's research is more convincing!
