Zhu Xi inherited Cheng Yi's philosophical thoughts and was known as "Cheng Zhu" in the world, but his "Yi" thought was different from Cheng Yi's. Cheng's study of "Yi" follows the path pioneered by Wang Bi and understands "Yi" based on its meaning; Zhu Xi believes that "Yi" is a book of divination, and writing "Original Meaning of Zhou Yi" is to restore the original appearance of "Yi".

I particularly like the description of Fuxi's hexagrams in the book, "Fuxi looked up and down, and saw that there were odd pairs of yin and yang, so he drew one odd couple to symbolize yang, and another odd couple to symbolize yin." I feel Fuxi is so awesome! Moreover, this book also corrected some previous scholars' misunderstandings about "The Book of Changes" and allowed me to better understand the true nature of this book. But I haven't decided yet whether to recommend it to my friends or not. I'll have to think about it again.
