"Wu Jutong Medical Records", Medical Records Monograph, 4 volumes. Wu Tang (Ju Tong) of the Qing Dynasty wrote it in the third year of Jiaqing (1798). This book contains a total of 457 medical records. Volume 1 is a special chapter on febrile diseases and typhoid fever, listing 10 types of diseases and recording 143 cases; Volumes 2-3 are miscellaneous diseases, listing 35 types of diseases and recording 235 cases; Volume 4 is a treatment test for women and children, listing 12 types of diseases, and recording 79 cases. The febrile diseases discussed include wind-warmth, febrile disease, febrile fever, winter temperature, summer temperature, late summer heat, damp-warmth, moderate dryness, etc. In each case, the disease is first given a name, followed by a description of the pulse and syndrome, followed by an explanation of the pathogenesis or differential diagnosis, and finally a prescription. The cases are concise and complete, and some medical records have continuous records, which can better understand the rules of Wu's syndrome and treatment.
Wu is a master of febrile diseases, and "Tiao Bian of Febrile Diseases" is his representative work. This book can be used as the theoretical practice and supplement of "Tiao Bian of Febrile Diseases". Wu's creation of triple burner syndrome differentiation does not neglect the methods of syndrome differentiation such as the eight cardinal principles, the six meridians, the defending qi and blood, the viscera, and the meridians. Homemade Yinqiao Powder, Sangju Yin, Qingying Decoction, Dading Fengzhu and Jiajia Fumai Decoction, etc., Are used frequently and have effective results. Wu's treatment of internal and gynecological diseases is not biased towards sweetness and coolness. He still respects the purpose of Zhongjing's writings and uses both cold and heat, so he can often achieve miraculous effects.
Reader comments
Moreover, Wu is also very good at treating miscellaneous diseases. He does not stick to one method and the effect is very good. But I don't really like the doctor who mistreated the patient. He was so confused! Fortunately, it was cured in the end. Overall, this book is of great reference value for those who study Chinese medicine.
