Synopsis

"Song of One Hundred Symptoms of Febrile Diseases", a work on Febrile Diseases. Five volumes. Written by Xu Shuwei of Song Dynasty. Xu compiled the syndromes and other contents in "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" into 100 categories, analyzed them with seven-character formulas, and quoted classical medical books to provide detailed annotations to deepen readers' understanding of the syndromes discussed. This cannot be done except by those who have deeply studied the essence of "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" to understand its underlying meaning. There are extant Yuan engravings, various Qing engravings, lithographic editions and the Shiwanjuanlou Series.
