The Yellow Emperor's Jiuding Shendan Sutra

"The Yellow Emperor's Nine Cauldrons Divine Alchemy Sutra" was written by an alchemist. It has twenty volumes in total and is referred to as "The Nine Cauldrons Divine Alchemy Sutra". The book holds that if you want to live forever, it is impossible to obtain the golden liquid of the divine elixir. Breathing guidance, letting go of the old and absorbing the new, and taking herbs can prolong life, but it will not avoid death. Only taking the divine elixir can make people live in the world. Therefore, the book listed a variety of alchemy methods, such as the Xuanhuang method, the Danhua method, the divine rune method, the divine elixir method, the returning elixir method, the bait elixir method, the alchemy method, the soft elixir method, the Fu elixir method, the cold elixir method, etc. It was proposed that for alchemy, a master must be chosen to receive the instructions, and Gu Gangzi's theory was quoted to prove this.
