The book "Diagnostic Jade Letter" is rarely recorded in bibliographic books of the past dynasties, and it is also rarely circulated among the people. After consulting the "Summary of the General Catalog of Sikuquanshu", "Chinese Medical Books", "Medical Readings", "Four General Records of Medicine", as well as the "United Catalog of Traditional Chinese Medicine Books" published by the Beijing Library in 1962 and other bibliographic books, this book was not included. It was not until 1991 when the Traditional Chinese Medicine Ancient Books Publishing House published the "National Union Catalog of Traditional Chinese Medicine Books" that it was recorded that the library of Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine contained fragments of this book (only two and four volumes remain). This shows that this book has been lost for a long time.

Just like a friend of mine, she didn't know the difference between cold and typhoid fever before, which delayed her illness. This book makes it very clear that we can judge whether it is a yang syndrome or a yin syndrome based on the symptoms, and also gives corresponding prescriptions. I plan to recommend this book to her so that she will not be in a hurry when encountering similar situations in the future.
