The Time Bank

A mysterious woman named Yan Zhaodi gave Cao Xuxu a card called the “Time Bank.” At first, Cao Xuxu was too exhausted from the demands of work and family to pay it any attention. But one day, on a whim, she checked the card and learned that Yan Zhaodi had suddenly died. The balance was zero. When she checked it again at an ATM a few days later, however, she discovered that the name on the card had changed from “Yan Zhaodi” to “Cao Xuxu,” and the balance now showed a number measured in hours. Cao Xuxu began to sense that something strange was going on with the card. Gradually, she realized it was meant not for storing money, but time. And besides storing time, it had several other uncanny functions. In order to gain more time, Cao Xuxu embarked on a path from which there was no turning back.
