After her grandfather passed away, Tang Sheng was left to run Yanjing Xuan on her own. Then she received a job to repair an enamel pocket watch from the Republican era. A twist in time sent her unexpectedly back to the age of her grandfather, to the ancient city of Xi’an during the Republican era. It was a time when the feudal dynasty was nearing its end and a new age was about to begin. In the twenty-first year of the Republic, two families of seal carvers stood locked in fierce opposition in ancient Xi’an. “The Xu family of the west and the Si family of the south” were evenly matched, and everyone loved to talk about their rivalry. The Seventh Master of Yaren Studio, a man of refined virtue, and the ruthless young Master Si of Shoucheng Hall: which of them would become the other’s undoing? With an enamel pocket watch and a love story out of step with time, what trials and intrigues will Tang Sheng face after returning to Republican-era Xi’an to fulfill her grandfather’s last wish?
Maybe it's because of my personal reasons! I think this book is very good-looking. Generally, you should calm down and read this type of book.
I quite like this feeling, but I don't really like the ending.
Good book, worth reading
