In a first-tier city, having no money or home isn’t scary. Having no love is. This story follows four women born in the 1990s as they enter the working world and face challenges such as rental scams, unpaid wages, difficulty getting raises, and unspoken workplace rules. Their love lives are full of twists and turns, with all kinds of conflicts, lies, and clashes involving mama’s boys, blunt men, divorced men, rich heirs, scumbags, and young heartthrobs. Through it all, they grow.
