This book is my favorite style. The heroine is very strong. But there is one question that I still can't figure out. Are Bei Lingfeng and Regent the same person?
When I watched more than a dozen episodes, the heroine lost her home and was living on the street as a performer. I felt so pitiful for her. I cried while watching it, but this book is very interesting.
I have read three novels by the author, and each one is better than the last. This one is the best one so far. The plot is not long, so I am not tired of reading it. The ending is very fast, but the previous plot is very exciting. I recommend you to read it.
The following opinions are purely personal. I have read the author's three novels, and in each of them, the male protagonist orders the female protagonist to be tortured and beaten. Don't be afraid, newcomers. In the three books, the male protagonist is reluctant to part with her after half the punishment, so you can still feel free to enter the trap. However, this is really unacceptable to me personally. If it were replaced by someone else ordering the female protagonist to be punished, the male protagonist would agree with the punishment and not stop it, which would be acceptable. After all, ancient and modern people have different concepts, which is understandable. Seeing the beginning of the scene where the regent ordered the heroine to be beaten with a stick, no matter how perfect he was, he was no longer the hero in his mind. I really thought that Prince Ling was the hero. At least he didn't order the heroine to be harmed, although he was not as strong as the regent.
The writing is concise and neat, not sloppy, and the subject matter is relatively novel. It would be better if a perfect man like dad were alive...
