The desires discussed in this book are not inherently good or bad. Because we are sometimes driven by noble motives and sometimes by basic motives, each of these desires can bring out the best and worst in us. In other words, each of these desires can be used for good or ill: they are not about survival, but about how we choose to live. It is on this basis that the author of this book, through a large amount of psychological counseling experience, reveals to readers why we get lost in various desires and find it difficult to extricate ourselves, and how we can easily gain prosperity through transformation.

This book was interesting and made me think about my own desires. Just like what is said in the book, "The more attached, persistent and narrow-minded we are to our desires, the more sinister the impact will be on our lives." We really need to take a good look at those seemingly harmless desires. I particularly like the part about greed in the book, which quotes Dante's famous saying, "Blind greed incites men, and in the end makes them tortured forever." This sentence is really enlightening. I think this book is not only suitable for those of us looking for a job, but also for everyone who wants to know themselves better.
The first few chapters and the last few chapters are relatively good, but some chapters in the middle seem to have layout problems.
We are really contradictory and changeable, sober and indulgent. It is so complicated.
