"Journey to the West" is one of the four classic Chinese classics (i. E. "A Dream of Red Mansions", "Journey to the West", "Water Margin" and "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms"). It is a mythological novel with rich content and brilliant ideas.
The book tells the story of Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Sha Seng and White Dragon Horse protecting Tang Monk on his journey to the west to obtain scriptures. The five masters and apprentices experienced various hardships and dangers along the way, slaying demons along the way, and finally obtained the true scriptures. It fully expresses the author's realist feelings and the ideological themes of promoting justice, punishing evil and promoting good.
