Tales of the Strange: The Holy Monk of Takano

A young monk wandering the land comes upon a house in a remote, gloomy wilderness. With night approaching, he asks to stay the night. The beautiful hostess welcomes him warmly and eagerly attends to him as he bathes. By the stream, she removes her clothes and washes his body. His heart races, and he struggles to suppress his desire. Unable to sleep that night, he tosses and turns, tormented by the howls of beasts outside and the woman's moans next door. All he can do is recite prayers until dawn. The next day, he hurriedly bids the hostess farewell and rushes down the mountain. When he reaches the foot of the mountain, the woman's voluptuous body and alluring voice rise in his mind once more. As he hesitates, her male servant happens to pass by and tells him that the woman is actually a demoness, and any man she lures turns into a beast and is trapped in the mountains...
