Can be related to Zen Buddhism. I recommend a book, The Way of the Heart, a 1958 book. An American practicing Zen explains selfish desires and conscience in very clear words. When I watched it, I thought of the unity of knowledge and action. Then when I read the translation of Zhuan Xilu, I immediately felt that the content was consistent, and it added determination, which was a missing part of the book.
