This book records Mr. Yu Qiuyu's experience of traveling tens of thousands of kilometers in 2000 to inspect the relics of major human civilizations. Travels all over Greece, Egypt, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Nepal, etc. The wheels are close to the ground, and they are rolled over kilometer after kilometer. They have no idea what they will encounter. All they know are scenes of thrilling and true stories.
This is a history of world culture in the minds of contemporary people. After extensive revisions, additions and deletions by Mr. Yu Qiuyu, it has been newly revised and published again.

What a great book... Follow it step by step, using words as your eyes to appreciate and experience the relics and realities of ancient civilizations one after another. The vision is magnificent; the thoughts are ups and downs; the heart is calm and passionate... "A Sigh of a Thousand Years" is a sigh, but also an exclamation... To pay tribute to the long-standing Chinese civilization, and to be proud and happy that I am a Chinese...
It's a very good book. It's like traveling abroad with the author. It has gained a lot of insights, knowledge, and some shocks and ideas that I have never experienced before.
A literary work, a book written by a practitioner and a brave person
Seen from near and far, civilization is the pot of wine among the flowers of Taibai's pen, the cloud of smoke that envelops the cold water and the sand, the sound of horse hooves when the eight hundred Yue family sons charge, and the river flowing eastward on a spring night. Bit by bit, time passes, and amidst the changes, there are always things that remain unchanged.
You can learn about world civilization without leaving home. Thank you for this book and the author!
After reading this book, my heart was filled with excitement, as if I was tracing the ancient civilizations (ancient Egypt, ancient Babylon, and ancient India) in my heart with the author. I went through Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal and other countries, but I was so separated from the reality I saw. In particular, some countries are going through wars, and there are endless racial, religious and other issues. The civilians are suffering deeply, and foreigners are afraid of kidnapping and dare not get involved. Among the four ancient civilizations, only the Chinese civilization has been passed down for 5,000 years. It has a long history and is admirable!
A book well worth reading! If you can't go to Greece, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, and India, then at least you can learn about part of it from this book and understand the origin and development of each civilization. It will tell you about it.
Following Mr. Yu Qiuyu along the way, I felt like I could vividly remember it. I was lucky enough to read this book. I may not be able to go to these places, but I know them better than if I had gone. A book worth reading carefully. Classic or classic.
Looks good for no reason
Many of the ideas in it inspired me, but I couldn't understand them because they were somewhat different from what I knew in life. But I admire the author's bravery in going to so many dangerous places.
Whether it's the structure or the description, it makes me feel like I'm actually there! It was like following the wheels of the brigade and admiring the continuous changes in history. At the end, the dark clouds in the sky suddenly dissipated and I saw the stars twinkling in the sky!
Looking at the country, Chinese civilization seems to have had a very difficult journey.
Looking internationally, Chinese civilization has developed really smoothly.
It would be great if I could ask for Teacher Yu's calligraphy treasure.
After reading Cultural Journey, I plan to read the book introduced in Teacher Yu Qiuyu's article. I really like Teacher Yu's writing style. He depicts the ruins as if he were actually there, and the few sentences about the actual situation are more thought-provoking than directly describing the dilapidated and miserable scenes. Looking at real life from a civilized perspective, I suddenly felt a sense of openness, and felt that the scraps and pieces of life were no longer so sad.
A good book, worth reading carefully.
It is a profound analysis of human civilization. After reading it, it feels like I have traveled a lot myself.
I admire Teacher Yu Qiuyu's talent and persistence in history. I like all Teacher Qiuyu's books very much!
It's so wonderful, the literary master's wonderful writing is brilliant. I love reading it very much.
A very good book.
The first book that introduced me to it! !
Very good, thank you author
Dreaming back to the eve of the millennium
Civilization, whether it is destroyed or preserved, makes people feel infinite emotions.
Wonderful, Greek civilization, Egyptian civilization, Babylonian civilization, ancient Indian civilization, ancient Jewish history, etc.
The article is written truthfully, believably, and well-narrated. From this, a great love for the motherland arose spontaneously!
