Phoenix Reborn in Flames

The Thunderbolt General and the regent fought bitterly for years, never giving an inch. In the end, they came together because of a marriage pact meant to secure peace between their two countries. On their wedding day, blood splattered across the hall: the bride, the Thunderbolt General, was the one who bled. The regent had gone too far in his ruthlessness, thoroughly offending the General, who repaid kindness and returned every grudge tenfold. Everyone thought that even as husband and wife, these two calamities would be the sort to stab each other to death one day. No one knows what wires got crossed in the world, but the two of them fight fiercely and kill just as fiercely, and it’s always everyone else who suffers. Bystanders: You two can fight behind closed doors, you know. Could you please stop killing people out here...?
