There is no mindless worship of the wisdom of the ancients, nor blind belittling of the insights of the ancients. The explanation is given objectively and peacefully. The protagonist doesn't have the problem of collecting beautiful women and feels much more comfortable. There are no original characters (the same goes for other parallel history novels), which I personally feel is a pity. Since so many lives have been saved and education has been developed, if there are no new heroes, doesn't it mean that the efforts have been unsuccessful?
