I gave it four stars out of sentiment. I came here to read it after I read it recommended in Yilin's magazine when I was a kid. At first, I read the physical book, and later I read the online version.
It's a bit of a cool setting, but the overall plot doesn't have much of a problem. The biggest flaw is that the ending is a bit abrupt, with a lot of foreshadowing thrown away. It feels like a bad ending, with no clear main line. The second half relies entirely on the heroine to drive the plot. The style of the whole book changes quite a bit, and I'm not used to it.
Overall, it should be between 3 and 4
