The Unity of Buddha and Demon

First, I bow to my parents for raising me. I can never repay their kindness! Second, I bow for being an unfilial son, setting off on a long journey before I could even wear mourning clothes for them! Third, I bow for this blood feud. If I do not avenge it in this life, I, Rama, swear I am no man! Carrying a blood feud on his shoulders and the secret of the Buddha’s bones in his heart, the young man did not know how far the road ahead would take him, nor did he want to know. He was already on the road. Stop moving forward, and die.
