The characters in this book are all very distinct. Manzhi is very brave and strives to pursue her dreams; although Shao Yun is relatively cold at first, his love for Mengmeng later is also very touching. I think Manzhi is just like Jane in "Jane Eyre", strong and independent. This book reminds me of "Why Shengxiao is Silent", which also has a story of love and hate entanglement. I like stories like this very much, they feel very real and people can learn a lot from them.
