Tales of the Tang Dynasty: The Nine Divine Dragons

The Yelang Kingdom was once a small frontier state in southwestern China during the Han dynasty. It later grew rapidly, expanding its territory across parts of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, and Hunan. To consolidate his rule, Emperor Cheng of Han sent a large army to subdue it, and Yelang was soundly defeated. After that battle, the kingdom that had once ruled the southwest mysteriously vanished overnight. No one knows how it disappeared, much less why it vanished in a single night. All that remains are countless legends, along with the Shenlong Command, said to command the world, and a treasure worth more than an empire.

An Lushan, Li Longji, Li Heng, Li Lin, the Plum Blossom Guards, the Lijing Gate, and various other factions are drawn into the search for the Shenlong Command. Amid the tangled struggle for power, a war between father and son, brother and brother, is about to begin.
