The adaptation of the TV series is quite extensive. The descriptions in the original novel are not so detailed. They mainly focus on the general framework, and the descriptions of a few prominent details appear to be particularly realistic. I don't know why, but the feeling is there, but not very deep. Maybe the image in the TV series is preconceived and difficult to replace. Overall, the novel is okay. It is not long and the narrative is bland. It highlights the climax of a few sections.
