The Wutong Tree Murder

During summer vacation, middle school student Su Jie and his uncle Zhou Yuanyi, a criminal police officer, set off for a holiday in Hainan. On the plane, his uncle ran into an old middle school classmate, Shangguan Xiaoshang, who was traveling with elementary school student Huang Huanyu. But when the plane landed, Su Jie discovered that, thanks to his uncle's deliberate arrangements, they had actually come to beautiful Xishuangbanna. His uncle had arranged this to avoid a kidnapping targeting Huang Huanyu. To escape the kidnappers, the four of them headed to a *nature reserve on the China-Laos border. That night, Shangguan Xiaoshang was murdered in a secret room in a Hani village, while a corpse of unknown origin floated quietly on the Nanla River outside the village...
