His Love Is Shallow

Many years ago, Xie Xiwen and Wen Zhizhen met by chance and fell in love at first sight, but their love came to nothing.

Many years later, Xiwen reunites with him and puts the slow-growing love they once shared to the test...

The most important rule of a lighthearted romance: learn to love you.

Xie Xiwen: Do you love me?

Wen Zhizhen: I never said I didn’t love you.

Xie Xiwen: You love everyone like this. Do you love Su Ning? Do you love me more than her?

Wen Zhizhen: You think I don’t love you?

Xie Xiwen: If you loved me, you wouldn’t have let go of my hand so easily when we got divorced.

Wen Zhizhen: So I don’t love you because I didn’t drink myself into a stupor over you? I’m not worthy of your love because I didn’t lose control? I don’t love you enough because I didn’t threaten to die over you?!

Xie Xiwen: Wen Zhizhen, I’ve always had one regret: you’ve never said “I love you.”

Wen Zhizhen: I’m sorry, Xiwen. Let’s start over and learn how to love you.
