Zhang Tianyuan has loved antiques since childhood, and even chose the appraiser class in a game. After unexpectedly falling into a coma, he somehow learns the game’s secret appraisal techniques in real life. Ceramics that span the ages, antique furniture, lustrous gemstones, paintings and calligraphy famous in the annals of history, mysterious ancient bronzeware: all become part of his expertise. Once a shut-in who only knew how to play games and satisfy himself by imagining stories about antiques, he rises overnight to become a rising star in the world of antique appraisal. He gambles on stones and appraises treasures, critiques paintings and calligraphy! Beautiful women admire him, and brave warriors pledge themselves to him! With secret techniques in hand, the world is his.
It's good to read, but sometimes the introduction feels a bit too much. It can focus on cultural relics and national treasures, and light on cultural relics to introduce famous people. It doesn't need to be famous, but it is so detailed, which makes people feel wordy. After all, this is a novel, not a biography of a character. The novel is read with a light feeling.
Worth reading! It involves some professional knowledge and has been taught! The author is thoughtful!
The beginning is okay, the protagonist is very jumpy
