This book revolves around a strange incident in 1866 that caused a lot of trouble in the city. Many ships discovered sea monsters at sea. French biologist Professor Aronnax was invited to chase the monster. Unexpectedly, he fell into the water and met Captain Nemo and other crew members, and experienced fantastic adventures with them. In the end, he could not bear the dullness at the bottom of the sea and tried every means to return to the land. The original intention of reading this book at first was to cope with the Chinese teacher's homework. I didn't say I liked it, nor did I hate it. But after reading the book, I gradually accepted it, until I became a neutral person. I read it in a hurry from the first chapter to the end. It is good in terms of classics (it can increase my knowledge and introduce some plants and animals), but some students may not like it that much (sometimes the content can be very boring), and maybe there are neutral people like me 😂 I like the calm Captain Nemo, I like the calm and kind-hearted Professor Aronnax, I also like the easy-going and loyal Conseil, and I also like the wild Ned. They have their own unique character traits that make people like them.
I think this book has many exciting parts. When I read it, I felt like I was in it. It also took us to visit such a vast underwater world. To be precise, it is actually another world. It felt very strange, surprising and unexpected.
