City in the Sky

While chasing a thief, tomboy police officer Lin Aibing stumbles upon a mysterious book. The sound of its pages rubbing together turns out to be connected to her father’s car accident. When the book opens a gate through time and space, she enters a world ruled by divine authority and meets Fu Yuchen, a divine son with an extreme aversion to dirt. Together, they embark on a journey of solving crimes and falling in love across worlds. Friction between the two worlds links them together and triggers natural disasters. Tsunamis keep striking, and only closing the gate between worlds can stop them. But the lovers will be separated, each trapped in a different world. Should they selfishly live on for love, or give up their romance to protect the people of both worlds?
