Well enough. It was quite enjoyable to watch the torture of Green Tea White Lotus, but I just couldn't figure out why the heroine wanted to fake her death at the end. It was clear that her bad reputation had disappeared in Beijing, and the Yun family had maintained it, but she still had to leave incognito.
It's a pretty good book, with ups and downs and interlocking plots. The book depicts Wu Xiang Mo Yi, the evil pavilion master who is willing to sacrifice everything for the one he loves, Yun Feiyan, the ill-fated eldest daughter of the Yun Mansion, Zhao Hua, the prince who cannot be loved, Dong Xue Qing, a talented and loyal girl, and a shrewd, capable and indifferent to fame and fortune.
